I'm Chanda, curator for Noonday Vintage. My business's name was inspired by my very favorite place, Nantahala, North Carolina. Nantahala is a Cherokee phrase meaning "Land of the Noonday Sun." Buying secondhand reduces the burden on landfills, thereby keeping our planet - and all those special places on it - healthier.

While I admire different eras and styles, I focus on selling vintage barware, brass items, Mid-Century and Art Deco inspired decor. I'll also throw in some pottery, dog stuff, and feminine art.
My love for vintage items goes back to my early twenties. I think we try to replicate what makes us feel warm and safe, which is often our grandparents' style. If I can help you to feel just a bit of that sense of comfort, then I am honored to do this job.
